"As parents of a beautiful Guatemalan boy, people have commented to me about the difficulty of finding that special gift for adoptive parents and children. Because of this fact, I started making heirloom quality 'Adoption Quilts' using themes from the child's birth country. From there, I decided to make patterns available for all adoptive families who would like to make their own adoption quilts and wallhangings.
