If you've done any initial shopping for your adopted child, chances are you've
seen a wide selection of the popular "baby books" in the stores and online.
Problem is, few of these traditional baby books
cover the special nature of adoption. Almost all are newborn- and infant-oriented. And the
few that give a nod to adopted children - of any age - do so in an off-hand, cobbled
together, approach.
Adoptive parents and their children deserve better. That's why I felt it was important to offer
adoptive parents a selection of genuinely adoption-centered baby books, journals, life books and
memory keepsake albums.
These albums are designed to work for all adoption situations -- older children, sibling
groups, international adoption -- and will provide a place for your child's special story
and your own as you grow as a family.
Some of these books are
specific to international adoption. Others work well for either domestic
or international. Several will also be appropriate for single parent and
alternative families.
